We at Racks recognize that our activities have a direct impact on both our local environment and a larger more indirect impact on the global environment. Our concern for these issues has led us to develop a green policy with three main tenets; “sustainability”, “recycling”, and “environmental”.

Our sustainability policy focuses on the more global issues through our Eco Management Team. We strive to design and manufacture our products safely, economically, and to minimize impact on both the local and the global environment. Locally we focus on issues as diverse as plant operations through employee transportation. Globally we focus on issues from materials and purchasing through design.

Our recycling procedures range from procurement practices seeking the use of renewable and recyclable materials, through waste prevention practices and plant recycling to minimize waste production.

Through our environmental policies we seek to employ the best practices to conserve the use of energy and other resources, minimize or eliminate the use of harmful substances, minimize waste generation through reductions, reuse and recycling, and to ensure the correct and safe disposal of all substances.
